Robbery and phone snatches

Your local police team has been out on the ward carrying out robbery / bike enabled phone snatch patrols on Bermondsey Street SE1 and Tower Bridge road SE1 today encouraging members of the public not to get lost in their phones and pay attention to surroundings. 

There has been some good results in the last couple of weeks with 4 arrests of phone snatchers on London Bridge and West Bermondsey ward. One of the robbers on a bike was stopped and found to have 4 stolen phones on him. 

Two robbers on foot robbed someone outside London Bridge Station; unfortunately for them they did it when police were about who were chased, detained and arrested and victim got their property back.

Another robber on Borough High Street also on foot snatch a phone again practically in front of police officers who chased, detained and arrested the suspect and recovering property for the victim.
